The current state of our economy and its impact on our community has influenced Raymond L. Chukwu to run for the US Congress, District 15 of Santa Clara County. We have been unable to recover from our economic problems largely because of failed leadership. In this connection, Mr. Chukwu has developed an innovative economic plan, by formulating and computing the equation of economic recovery, which reads as follows: E = JE²T, where

E = Economy
J = Jobs
E = Education
E = Environment
T = Technology

Economic Recovery Using E = JE²T

The inclusion of flight dynamics into his campaign strategies is to demonstrate that science and technology is the jet engine of any growing economy driven by technological innovations, such as ours. The E exponential in this equation is indicative that his strategy will revive this economy in a record time then accelerate it at a supersonic speed to ensure immediate prosperous economy for you and your family.

The bursting of the dot com bubble that brought productivity boom in the mid-1990's was bad news for the US economy, especially our district which is big producer of information technology. No question that contributions and advances we have made in information technology holds the key to our future productivity. However, during the boom of the 90's more emphasis was given to the dot com's and as a result we failed to capitalize on key scientific R&D in other major components of our economy such as energy, transportation, environment, agriculture, defense and biotechnology. The negligence to develop technologies and invest in these key components has made faster recovery more difficult. In view of this, technological innovations should be geared towards helping businesses achieve high performance in all sectors of the economy by providing them all the necessary incentives and support they need to create jobs here in Silicon Valley.

Therefore, we need to assess the following factors to create a more robust economy for our district:

• Review key technological components
• Calibrate the investment magnitude
• Assess their job creation potentials
• Determine the components with best results

Based on these assessments, Mr. Chukwu will invoke the principles of his equation of economic recovery to implement his campaign platform as shown below:
